Register Early. Spaces are Limited. This year's Autism Summit of Northwest Ohio is fortunate to welcome Temple Grandin for the 10th anniversary of the annual conference. Dr. Grandin, a renowned animal scientist and a person with high-functioning autism, is an inspiration to many in the autistic community. She is a highly regarded speaker about autism as well as her area of expertise - the livestock industry. Her life is the subject of the award-winning HBO movie, "Temple Grandin."
Keynote Presenter:
Temple Grandin is a doctor of animal science and a professor at Colorado State University. She is a best-selling author and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior. As a person with high-functioning autism, Dr. Grandin is also widely noted for her work in autism advocacy and is the inventor of the "hug machine," which is designed to calm hypersensitive persons. Throughout her career, Grandin has used her autism to gain insight into the minds of cattle – and develop methods to treat them more humanely. Grandin is listed in the 2010 Time Magazine list of the 100 most influential people in the world in the category "Heroes."

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel five full days before the conference, your fee will be refunded in full. If you cancel during the last four days, you will receive a 50% refund. There will be no refunds on the day of the conference. You are encouraged to send a substitute if your plans change on short notice. CEUs:
CEUs pending for DODD. Teachers who need education CEUs may submit the certificates to their Regional Professional development Center. To receive CEUs, attendance at the entire conference is required. Please check the box on the registration form if you want CEUs. Founded & Organized by:
